That's right. This entire post is about foaming hand soap and I'm not ashamed to say how excited I am to write about it. I actually remember the day I decided to add this to our grocery delivery list and I was hooked. It changed me. Upon arriving at a hotel, I often encounter the notorious bar soap—the kind that leaves your skin feeling dry and tight, stripped of moisture. Those days are now over.
The moment I land, my mission is clear: find that coveted foaming hand soap. If I'm at a hotel, I check the amenities, but at a rental, I either stop by a store or add it to my grocery order. Staying in a one bedroom suite with kitchen? I'll have one in the kitchen and one in the bathroom. Yes, sometimes I have more than one!

When selecting foaming hand soap, I can be a little picky (big shocker). I prioritize cruelty-free brands and have found great options at Target (the Everspring Lavender and Bergamot is by far my all time fave), I'm also a sucker for Mrs. Meyers, but com on, it's foaming hand soap, it's not hard to find. We're in a post-pandemic world which means I wash my hands more than ever. Especially when I'm traveling. So if I'm gonna be washing a million times a day, I might as well have a lovely time doing it.
In summary, while foaming hand soap may seem like a minor (some might say, silly) travel essential, it has become a non-negotiable for my journeys. It feels much better on my hands, gives me the impression I'm getting cleaner than I do with hotel bar soap, and adds a touch of luxury that I now cherish. Add it to your arrivals-day to-do list.
